By veteran boat through the Inner Fairway to the Heathland center 

 The trip takes you through the historical Inner Fairway north from Bergen to Nordhordland, through narrow sounds in a fertile landscape. 

You can disembark at Salhus and visit The Museumof the Norwegian Knitting Industry - and return by bus. 

Or you can continue to Lygra in Lindås or Sletta on Radøy.

At Lygra you can visit the Heathland Centre with its open heathlands and impressive landscape. Guided walks through thelandscape. 

Visit the museum building which shows a film and has exhibitions and a restaurant serving traditional fare. Combineyour trip to Lygra with an overnight stay at the historical Lygra

The final stop is at The Western Norway Emigration Centre
at Sletta. The centre is a monument to the Norwegians who emigrated to America and their descendants. Information and a film in the Emigrant Church, and a guided tour of the historical buildings that have been moved from North Dakota to Sletta.
